Scope

This document stipulates the general requirements for barrier-free operation services of urban rail transit, services for passengers with visual impairment, services for passengers with hearing and speech impairment, services for passengers in wheelchairs, services for passengers with other accessibility needs, information services, requirements for service knowledge and skills, and requirements for service supervision and improvement.
This document applies to barrier-free operation services of urban rail transit systems such as metros, light rails, monorails, urban rapid railways, and medium- and low-speed maglev trains. Trolleybuses can refer to and use it accordingly.
