Scope

This document specifies the method of marking the grades of steel plates used in building structures, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to the manufacture of high-performance hot-rolled steel plates with a thickness of 6 mm to 200 mm used in building structures, large-span structures, and other steel structures (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates"). Hot-rolled steel strips can also be referenced in accordance with this document.
