Scope

This document specifies the algorithms and parameters for virtual reality (VR) service experiences. The evaluation algorithm defines, models, and quantifies more than 20 indicators such as resolution, frame rate, bit rate, field of view (FOV), motion tracking (MTP), and degree of freedom (DoF) from the perspectives of audiovisual immersion quality, presentation quality, and interaction quality (business monitoring model). This document is applicable to operators, device manufacturers, content producers, and service providers at different levels and from different perspectives in evaluating experiences. The algorithms specified in this document are not only suitable for comprehensive evaluation of VR service user experiences, but also for quantitative analysis of various influencing factors.
