Scope

This document specifies LED lamps (self-ballasted LED lamps) that integrate stable ignition components for general lighting use in homes and similar settings. This document sets safety and interchangeability requirements for such lamps, as well as test methods and conditions for assessing their compliance. This document applies to the following scope: -- Rated power of 60 W or less; -- Rated voltage greater than 50 V and less than or equal to 250 V; -- Lamp heads that meet the requirements of Table 1. The requirements of this document only concern type testing. For inspection or batch testing of all products, see Appendix C of IEC 62031.
