GB/Z 39942-2021 Application of GB/T 20145 for the assessment of blue light hazard to light sources and luminaires

Scope

This guidance technical document provides explanations and guidance for evaluating the blue light hazard of all lighting products with primary radiation energy in the visible light range (380 nm~780 nm). Through optical and spectral calculations, it obtains the product information described in GB/T 20145 for photobiological safety measurement. Additionally, if the product is intended to be a component of higher-level lighting products, it provides methods for transferring this information from the component (such as LED packages, LED modules, or lamps) to higher-level lighting products (such as luminaires).
Appendix C provides a summary of recommendations that help to consistently apply GB/T 20145 to evaluate the blue light hazard of light sources and lamps.
