Scope

This document describes a method for determining the content of polypropylene fibers in a two-component mixture composed of the following fibers after removing non-fiber substances using the xylene method: — Polypropylene fibers, and — Sheep wool, other animal hair fibers, silk, cotton, viscose fibers, cuprammonium fibers, modal fibers, lyocell fibers, acetate fibers, triacetate fibers, polyamide fibers, polyester fibers, polyacrylonitrile fibers, glass fibers, polyester composite elastic fibers, melamine fibers, and polyacrylate fibers.
