YY/T 0882-2013 Anaesthetic and respiratory equipment—Compatibility with oxygen
Abstract
This standard specifies the minimum requirements for the compatibility of materials that come into contact with oxygen in anesthesia and respiratory equipment and their components, under normal or single-fault conditions where the gas pressure exceeds 50 kPa.
This standard applies to anesthesia and respiratory equipment, such as: medical gas piping systems, pressure reducers, terminals, medical supply units, flexible connections, flow meter devices, anesthesia workstations, and ventilators.
The compatibility characteristics proposed in this standard include: cleanliness, flame retardancy, and the toxicity of combustion and/or decomposition products.
