GB 5009.5-2016 National Standards for Food Safety - Determination of Protein in Foods
Abstract
This standard specifies the methods for determining the protein content in food.
The first and second methods of this standard are applicable to the determination of protein in various foods, and the third method is applicable to the determination of protein content in solid samples such as grains, soybean milk powder, rice flour, and protein powder with a protein content of more than 10 g/100 g.
This standard is not applicable to the determination of foods that contain inorganic nitrogen-containing substances or organic non-protein nitrogen-containing substances.
