GB/T 13894-2023 Petroleum and liquid petroleum products—Level measurement—Manual methods
Abstract
This document describes the method of manually measuring the liquid level and the height of free water at the bottom of non-pressurized tanks (compartments) for oil and liquid petroleum products (hereinafter referred to as "oil products").
This document is applicable to the measurement of the liquid level of oil products with a vapor pressure of less than 103 kPa. Other liquid products with similar characteristics can be referenced for use.
This document is applicable to the measurement of the liquid level of open-top tanks (compartments) that can be measured and low-pressure airtight tanks (compartments) equipped with vapor lock valves that can be sealed or restricted for measurement.
Note: When used for the measurement of the liquid level in oil tank compartments, "tanks" in this document are equivalent to "compartments".
