GB/T 26953-2025 Non-destructive testing of welds—Penetrant testing—Acceptance levels
Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for the acceptance level of penetration testing for surface open defects in metal welds.
The acceptance levels specified in this document are primarily used for testing during the manufacturing phase, but can also be used for in-service testing under appropriate circumstances.
The acceptance levels specified in this document are based on the detection capability expected to be achieved when the technical specifications of the ISO 3452 series of standards and the parameters recommended in Appendix A are met. The acceptance levels are related to welding documents, application documents, technical specifications, or regulations, etc. The relationship between the acceptance levels and ISO 5817 or ISO 10042 is described in ISO 17635.
This document does not specify the acceptance levels for group display.
