本文件规定了金属焊缝中表面开口缺欠的渗透检测显示的验收等级的要求。
本文件规定的验收等级主要用于制造阶段检测，但在适当的情况下，也能用于在役检测。
本文件规定的验收等级基于符合ISO 3452系列标准规定的技术和附录A推荐的参数时预期达到的检测能力。验收等级与焊接文件、应用文件、技术条件或法规等有关。验收等级和ISO 5817或ISO 10042相互之间的关系见ISO 17635。
本文件不规定群显示的验收等级。
