This part of GB/T 10054 specifies the safety and technical requirements for the manufacture, installation, use, and maintenance of freight construction elevators (hereinafter referred to as elevators) that can be accessed by a carrying device. This part applies to power-driven, temporarily installed elevators used by construction site personnel, equipped with a carrying device, capable of stopping at various floors, and having the following characteristics: - Used solely for transporting goods; - The carrying device has a guide; - The carrying device operates vertically or along a guide rail with a maximum angle of not more than 15° to the vertical plane; - The carrying device is suspended or supported by a wire rope driven by a drum, or by chains, gear racks, hydraulic cylinders (directly or indirectly), or telescopic linkage mechanisms; - When the guide rail frame is erected, it may or may not require support from an independent structure; - Trained personnel are allowed to enter the carrying device during loading and unloading; - The carrying device is operated by designated personnel; - Authorized professionals are allowed to enter and operate the carrying device during installation, dismantling, maintenance, and inspection, if necessary. This part covers the installation of the elevator, including the installation of the base frame and ground protective fences, but does not include the design of the elevator's foundation made of concrete, gravel, wood, etc. It includes the design of wall-mounted frames, but does not include the design of anchoring bolts connected to the supporting structure. It includes the design of floor doors and their structures, but does not include the design of any anchoring bolts connected to the supporting structure.
