GB/T 29168.1-2021 Petroleum and natural gas industries—Induction bends, fittings and flanges for pipeline transportation systems—Part 1:Induction bends
Abstract
This document specifies the design, materials, manufacturing process, mechanical properties, testing and inspection, marking, transportation, storage, and protection requirements for induction-heated elbows used in oil and gas pipeline transportation systems. The elbows manufactured in accordance with this document are suitable for natural gas and crude oil pipelines designed in accordance with GB 50251 and GB 50253, as well as refined oil pipelines meeting the requirements of current national product standards. This document applies to induction-heated elbows manufactured using seamless steel pipes made of carbon steel or low-alloy steel, high-frequency welded pipes, and straight-seam submerged arc welded steel pipes as the main pipes. Note: These materials are typical CMn steels or low-alloy steels, consistent with the strength grades of pipeline steel pipes in GB/T 9711-2017 and ISO 3183:2019. The two product specification levels (PSL) specified in this document correspond to those in GB/T 9711-2017 and ISO 3183:2019. This document does not apply to pipeline elbows produced using other manufacturing processes.
