Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and safety requirements for industrial glycol.
This standard applies to industrial glycol obtained by the direct oxidation of ethylene to produce ethylene oxide and then hydrating it.
This product is mainly used as a monomer for the production of polyesters and alkyd resins, and as an electrolyte for electrolytic capacitors. In addition, it can also be used as an antifreeze, plasticizer, solvent, etc.
