Abstract
This standard specifies the performance indicators and test methods for medical electron accelerators.
This standard applies to medical electron accelerators used for treatment purposes in the medical field.
This standard applies to medical electron accelerators that can generate X-ray and electron radiation with a nominal energy of 1 MeV to 50 MeV. The maximum absorbed dose rate at a distance of 1 m from the radiation source is 0.001 Gy/s to 1 Gy/s, and the normal treatment distance is between 50 cm and 200 cm.
This standard applies to medical electron accelerators equipped with isocentric frames. For non-isocentric devices, the performance and test methods can be appropriately modified.
