Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, materials, design composition, construction equipment, construction preparation, construction processes, and quality control and inspection of the synchronous crushed stone sealing layer technology for asphalt pavements. This standard is applicable to the preventive maintenance of the upper sealing layer of asphalt pavements on first-class and lower-class highways; the lower sealing layer and stress absorption layer of new and reconstructed asphalt pavement projects on first-class and lower-class highways; and the asphalt surface layer of new and reconstructed projects on third-class and lower-class highways.
