GB/T 12914-2018 Paper and board—Determination of tensile properties—Constant rate of elongation method(20 mm/min)
Abstract
This standard specifies the method of measuring the tensile strength, elongation at break, tear length, and tensile energy absorption of paper and paperboard using a testing instrument with a constant tensile speed (20 mm/min), and also provides the calculation formulas for the tensile index, tensile energy absorption index, and elastic modulus.
This standard applies to all types of paper and paperboard except corrugated cardboard.
