Abstract
This part specifies the safety and environmental requirements for the structure and performance of shear valves used in fuel dispensers installed in gas stations to refuel vehicles, ships, light aircraft, or mobile tank containers with a flow rate not exceeding 200 L/min (hereinafter referred to as "fuel dispensers").

This part pays particular attention to mechanical and hydraulic performance.
Note: The liquid fuels described in this part do not contain liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
