GB/T 17005-2019 General requirements for impressed current cathodic protection system of coastal structures
Abstract
This standard specifies the protection potential criteria for cathodic protection systems with impressed current applied to coastal facilities, as well as the technical requirements, system design, installation and inspection, and operation, maintenance, and testing requirements of the system.
This standard applies to the cathodic protection with impressed current applied to coastal facilities such as seawater pipelines, seawater pumps, drum-type rotary screens, condensers, and floating docks in seawater. It can also be used as a reference for the cathodic protection with impressed current applied to other devices in seawater, as well as circulation water systems for transporting freshwater and high-salinity water, and underwater facilities.
