Abstract
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography method for the determination of carmine (redwood pigment, reduced redwood pigment) in food.
This standard is applicable to the determination of redwood pigment and reduced redwood pigment in cheese and processed cheese and similar products, margarine and similar products, vegetable fat powder, frozen drinks, jam, chocolate and chocolate products, candy, grains and grain products, baked goods, Western-style ham products, sausages, compound seasonings, beverages, jelly, and puffed foods.
