Abstract
This standard specifies the classification and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of carbon steel and low-alloy steel solid welding wires and filler wires used in gas shielded arc welding. This standard applies to carbon steel and low-alloy steel solid welding wires and filler wires (hereinafter referred to as welding wires) used in welding processes such as gas shielded arc welding, tungsten gas shielded arc welding, and plasma arc welding.
