GB/T 37400.14-2019 Heavy mechanical general technical specification—Part 14:Nondestructive test of steel castings
Abstract
This part of GB/T 37400 specifies the non-destructive testing methods, general requirements, and corresponding quality grades for ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, penetration testing, and magnetic particle testing of cast steel parts.
This part applies to:
——Type A pulse reflection ultrasonic testing of alloy and non-alloy ferritic steel castings with a thickness ≤600 mm after heat treatment. For castings with a thickness >600 mm, if there are no other specifications, they can also be implemented as a reference;
——Radiographic testing of cast steel parts with a thickness ≥5 mm;
——Magnetic particle testing of surface and near-surface defects of ferromagnetic cast steel parts;
——Penetration testing of open surface defects of cast steel parts;
——Magnetic particle testing and penetration testing of defect repair areas.
This part does not apply to ultrasonic testing of austenitic cast steel parts.
