Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for high-oriented nylon 6 filament (HOY).
This standard applies to high-oriented nylon 6 filament (HOY) for civilian use, with a linear density of 8 dtex to 400 dtex, a single filament linear density greater than 1 dtex, a circular cross-section, and glossy, semi-matte, or fully matte filaments, as well as composite filaments, which are untwisted and not subject to compression and washing treatments.
