GB/T 41950-2022 Metallic coatings—Electroplated coatings of zinc and zinc alloys on iron or steel with supplementary Cr(Ⅵ)-free treatment
Abstract
This document specifies the marking requirements for zinc and zinc alloy electroplating layers on steel surfaces without hexavalent chromium passivation treatment, as well as the minimum corrosion resistance and minimum plating thickness required under specified test conditions. Zinc alloy electroplating layers contain nickel or iron alloy elements, which are respectively referred to as zinc-nickel alloy electroplating layers or zinc-iron alloy electroplating layers. This document applies to zinc and zinc alloy electroplating layers on steel surfaces without hexavalent chromium passivation treatment. The main purpose of electroplating layers or plating systems is to protect steel parts from corrosion.
