本文件规定了钢铁表面无六价铬钝化处理的锌和锌合金电镀层体系的标识以及在规定的测试条件下要求达到的最低耐蚀性和最小镀层厚度。锌合金电镀层中含有镍或铁合金元素，分别被称为锌镍合金电镀层或锌铁合金电镀层。本文件适用于钢铁表面无六价铬钝化处理的锌和锌合金电镀层。电镀层或镀层体系的主要目的是保护钢铁零部件免受腐蚀。
