GB/T 4214.7-2020 Test method for noise of household and similar electrical appliances—Particular requirements for tumbler dryers
Abstract
The general requirements of the GB/T 4214 series of standards apply to household and similar-purpose appliances powered by the grid or batteries, including their accessories and components.
Unless specifically stated in the special requirements of the GB/T 4214 series of standards, similar-purpose applications can be understood as being used under conditions similar to those in the home environment, such as in small hotels, cafes, tea rooms, hotels, barber shops, laundries, etc.
Addition:
This part of GB/T 4214 applies to electric tumble dryers intended for household and similar-purpose use as standalone units, which are intended to be placed against a wall on the floor, installed into cabinets or placed on kitchen worktops or under sinks, or mounted on walls or counters. Given the intent of this part's development, when a tumble dryer is used as a dryer, it is considered a tumble dryer.

This part also applies to gas-powered tumble dryers.
