Scope
GB/T 4214系列标准的通用要求适用于由电网供电或电池供电的家用和类似用途电器，包括它们的附件和部件。
如在GB/T 4214系列标准的特殊要求中未特别说明，类似用途可理解为在与家庭环境类似的条件下使用，如在小旅馆、咖啡厅、茶室、酒店、理发店、洗衣店等。
增加：
GB/T 4214的本部分适用于打算靠墙放置在地板上、嵌装或放置到柜台、厨房的工作台面或水池下、安装到墙壁上或柜台上的家用和类似用途的作为独立单元的电动滚筒式干衣机。鉴于本部分的制定意图，当滚筒式洗衣干衣机用作干衣机时，将其视为滚筒式干衣机。
注101：洗涤功能的测试方法见GB/T 4214.4。
本部分也适用于燃气式滚筒干衣机。
