GB/T 13871.3-2023 Rotary shaft lip-type seals incorporating elastomeric sealing elements—Part 3:Storage,handling and installation
Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for rotary shaft labyrinth seals (hereinafter referred to as "seal rings") with elastomeric materials as the sealing element during storage, handling, and installation, provides guidance on the use of the seal rings, and gives information on the hazards involved and how to avoid them. This document applies to seal rings used under low-pressure conditions (see GB/T 13871.1). Note: GB/T 13871 (all parts) and GB/T 21283 (all parts) complement each other. GB/T 21283 (all parts) specifies rotary shaft labyrinth seals with thermoplastic materials as the sealing element.
