Abstract
This part of GB/T 5095 is applicable to electrical connectors, sockets, cable assemblies, or interconnect systems.
This part describes the frequency-domain method and the time-domain method for measuring attenuation/insertion loss as a function of frequency.
Note: This document consistently uses the term "attenuation". When professional testers who conduct measurements based on samples and transmission line types summarize and report the results of the test measurements, they must use the appropriate terminology (attenuation or insertion loss).
