GB/T 2879-2024 Hydraulic fluid power—Cylinders—Dimensions and tolerances of housings for single-acting piston and rod seals in reciprocating applications
Abstract
This document specifies the dimensions and tolerances of the one-way sealing ring grooves on the pistons and piston rods of reciprocating hydraulic cylinders. The applicable cylinder diameters and piston rod diameters are as follows: -- Cylinder diameter: 16 mm to 500 mm; -- Piston rod diameter: 6 mm to 450 mm. This document also specifies the dimensions and tolerances of the small-section sealing ring grooves applicable to the 16 MPa series single-rod cylinders specified in JB/T 12706.2. The small-section sealing rings require tighter tolerances for the cylinder diameter and piston rod diameter. The applicable cylinder diameters and piston rod diameters are as follows: -- Cylinder diameter: 25 mm to 220 mm; -- Piston rod diameter: 12 mm to 140 mm. This document does not provide the structural design of the sealing rings. The structural type of the sealing rings varies depending on the manufacturer, and the structure and materials of the sealing rings, as well as the built-in anti-extrusion components, are determined by operating conditions such as temperature and pressure. This document is only applicable to the groove dimensions of the product, and is not applicable to the performance characteristics of the product.
