GB/T 38364.3-2019 Garden equipment—Safety requirements for combustion-engine-powered lawnmowers—Part 3:Ride-on lawnmowers with seated operator
Abstract
1.1 This part of GB/T 38364 specifies the safety requirements and inspection methods for internal combustion engine-driven riding lawnmowers and roller lawnmowers (hereinafter referred to as "lawnmowers"), which are equipped with:
——Metal cutting devices, and/or;
——Non-metal cutting devices, which consist of one or more cutting components hinged and installed on an approximately circular drive device. The cutting components rely on centrifugal force to achieve cutting, and the cutting energy (kinetic energy) of each cutting component is not less than 10 J.
This part does not apply to:
——Robotic and remote-controlled lawnmowers, swinging blade (pendulum) lawnmowers, lawn mowers, blade reciprocating lawnmowers, tractor/semi-suspended lawnmowers, and weeders;
——Cutting device components used with agricultural tractors;
——Electric lawnmowers and lawnmowers powered by batteries.
1.2 This part involves serious hazards that may occur during normal use or misuse of lawnmowers reasonably foreseeable by manufacturers, as well as the hazardous situations and serious hazardous events (see Appendix C).
1.3 This part does not apply to lawnmowers produced before the publication of this part.
