GB/T 23809.1-2020 Emergency guidance systems—Setting principles and requirements—Part 1:Inside buildings
Abstract
This part of GB/T 23809 specifies the factors to be considered in the planning of emergency guidance systems in public buildings, which mainly use safety signs and safety markings as guidance elements, as well as the design and installation principles and requirements. This part does not specify the lighting requirements on the central axis of emergency evacuation routes and the vertical lighting requirements of safety equipment.
This part applies to the design and installation of electric light sources and phosphorescent elements in emergency guidance systems in public buildings, and also applies to the determination of different elements in emergency guidance systems according to the use environment, materials, design, installation, and maintenance of emergency guidance systems.
This part does not apply to the design and installation of touch-type and auditory emergency facilities, nor to the design and application of high-position emergency lighting systems (especially evacuation route lighting).
This part does not apply to the design and installation of emergency guidance systems in waterways and marine cabins, or in air transport cabins.
