Scope
GB/T 23809的本部分规定了公共建筑物内以安全标志和安全标记为主要导向要素的应急导向系统的规划需考虑的因素、设计和设置的原则与要求。本部分未规定应急疏散路线的中轴线上的照明要求，以及安全设备的垂直照明要求。
本部分适用于公共建筑物内应急导向系统中电光源要素和磷光要素的设计与设置，也适用于根据应急导向系统的使用环境、材料、设计、安装和维护确定应急导向系统中的不同要素。
本部分不适用于触摸式和听觉类应急设施的设计与设置，也不适用于高位的应急照明系统（尤其是疏散路线照明）的设计和应用。
本部分不适用于水路和海运船舱内、空运机舱内应急导向系统的设计和设置。
