Abstract
This part of GB/T 26168 specifies the irradiation conditions that should be maintained before, during, and after irradiating insulating materials with ionizing radiation to determine whether radiation induces physical or chemical changes in their properties. It proposes several irradiation conditions that may have significant application value and lists various parameters that may affect radiation-induced reactions under these conditions. This part is applicable to the selection of samples, irradiation conditions, and test methods to facilitate the determination of the significance of radiation's impact on performance. Since many materials are used in air or inert gas environments, standard irradiation conditions are provided for these two scenarios. This part is not applicable to measurements during irradiation.
