GB/T 13871.1-2007 Rotary shaft lip type seals incorporating elastomeric sealing elements—Part 1:Nominal dimensions and tolerances
Abstract
This part of GB/T 13871 specifies the nominal dimensions of rotary shaft labyrinth seals with elastomeric materials as the sealing elements; it defines six basic types of seals, the descriptions and illustrations of which are shown in Figure 1; in order to ensure the interchangeability of seals produced by different manufacturers, it also specifies the dimensional limits of the shaft and cavity; and it provides recommended tolerances for the basic dimensions of the seals. This part is applicable to rotary shaft labyrinth seals with a shaft diameter of 6 mm to 400 mm and a mating cavity of 16 mm to 440 mm, but it is not applicable to rotary shaft labyrinth seals used under higher pressures (>0.05 MPa).
