GB/T 10395.20-2021 Active

This document, when used in conjunction with GB 10395.1, specifies the safety requirements and evaluation methods for the design and manufacture of self-propelled and tractor-drawn picking and baling machines, including combined picking and baling machines with film wrapping functions, without considering the shape and size of the formed hay bales. It describes methods to eliminate or reduce the hazards caused by improper operation and foreseeable misuse during normal use or maintenance. Additionally, it stipulates the type of safety operating procedures that manufacturers should provide.
For machines designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this document, when the provisions of this document differ from those of GB 10395.1, the provisions of this document shall take precedence over those of GB 10395.1.
In conjunction with GB 10395.1, this document covers all major hazards (see Table 1), dangerous conditions, and dangerous events related to self-propelled picking and baling machines, tractor-drawn picking and baling machines, and combined picking and baling machines with film wrapping functions, caused by misuse during normal operation (see Chapter 4).
This document does not apply to step-controlled round hay bale baling machines, and does not address environmental hazards, road safety, vibration, or hazards related to power transmission and moving parts. This document does not apply to hazards related to maintenance or repairs by professional service personnel.
