本文件与GB 10395.1一起使用，规定了不考虑成型草捆的形状和尺寸，包括捡拾打捆缠膜联合机在内的自走式和牵引式捡拾打捆机的设计和制造的安全要求和评估方法。描述了消除或降低正常使用或维护过程中由于操作不当及可预见性的误操作造成的危险的方法。此外，还规定了制造商应提供的安全操作规程的类型。
对于按照本文件要求设计和制造的机器，当本文件的规定与GB 10395.1的规定不同时，本文件的规定优先于GB 10395.1的规定。
