NY/T 594-2002 Japonica type cooking rice
Abstract
This standard specifies the relevant definitions, classifications, requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for edible japonica rice, as well as requirements for packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard is applicable to the inspection, evaluation, and identification of edible japonica rice in the production, processing, storage and transportation, purchase and sale, import and export, and scientific research processes.
This standard is not suitable for japonica rice used as raw materials in industries such as food and brewing.
