Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, forms and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection conditions, inspection methods, marking and packaging of vernier depth calipers, dial depth calipers, and digital display depth calipers. This standard applies to vernier depth calipers, dial depth calipers, and digital display depth calipers (hereinafter referred to as "depth calipers") with a scale division/resolution of 0.01 mm, 0.02 mm, 0.05 mm, and 0.10 mm, and a measuring range of (0~100) mm to (0~1,000) mm.
