Abstract
This standard specifies the conditions and detailed analysis steps for the determination of xylitol, sorbitol, and maltitol in food by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of xylitol, sorbitol, and maltitol in foods such as chewing gum, pastries, candies, and beverages. The minimum detection limits of xylitol, sorbitol, and maltitol in this standard are all 0.4%.
