GB/T 223.4-2008 Alloyed steel—Determination of manganese content—Potentiometric or visual titration method
Abstract
This section specifies the determination of manganese content by potentiometric titration or visual titration. This section is applicable to the determination of manganese content in alloy steel with a mass fraction of 2% to 25%. Vanadium and cerium interfere with the determination results. If the cerium content in the sample is less than 0.01% or the vanadium content is less than 0.005%, the interference can be ignored. If the cerium content in the sample is greater than 0.01% or the vanadium content is greater than 0.005%, the theoretical value can be corrected.
