This standard specifies the terms and definitions of pig slaughtering, pre-slaughter requirements, slaughtering operation procedures and requirements, packaging, labeling, marking and storage, as well as other requirements.
This standard applies to the slaughtering operations of designated pig slaughtering and processing plants (sites).
