Abstract
This part of GB/T 15306 specifies the dimensions of indexable inserts made of ceramic cutting materials with a rounded knife tip, no fixed holes, a normal back angle of 0°, and a precision of U grade. These inserts are mainly clamped from the top on the shanks of turning tools and boring tools. This part is applicable to U-grade non-holed indexable inserts made of various ceramic cutting materials.
