GB/T 38265.2-2019 Test methods for soft soldering fluxes—Part 2:Determination of non-volatile matter—Ebulliometric method
Abstract
This part of GB/T 38265 specifies the determination of the content of non-volatile substances in solder fluxes by the boiling point method, including the method principle, instrumentation and equipment, test steps, test data processing, precision, and test reports, etc.
This part is applicable to liquid solder fluxes defined in GB/T 15829 as types 1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.1.3 that contain highly volatile solvents, and solder fluxes with a content of non-volatile substances not less than 10%.
Note: For liquid solder fluxes with a solvent volatility lower than isopropanol, the determination of the content of non-volatile substances in the solder fluxes should be carried out by the weight method.
