GB/T 26951-2011 Non-destructive testing of welds—Magnetic particle testing
Abstract
This standard specifies the technology for detecting surface defects in ferromagnetic materials (including heat-affected zones) using magnetic particle inspection. Appendix A describes the factors related to basic techniques that can provide higher or lower detection sensitivity.
This standard is applicable to most welding processes and joint structures.
This standard does not address the acceptance levels of the displayed results. Information on the acceptance levels of the displayed results can be found in GB/T 26952 or in product or application standards.
