GB/T 8190.4-2023 Reciprocating internal combustion engines—Exhaust emission measurement—Part 4:Steady-state and transient test cycles for different engine applications
Abstract
This document specifies the test cycles, test procedures, and evaluations for gas and particulate emissions from reciprocating internal combustion engines connected to dynamometers. Under certain conditions, this document can also be used for on-site measurements. The tests are conducted under steady-state and transient operating conditions using test cycles representative of the specified applications.
This document is applicable to mobile, transport, and stationary reciprocating internal combustion engines, such as earthmoving machinery, generator sets, and other off-road engines, but excludes road engines used for transporting passengers and cargo. For engines used in machinery and equipment with additional requirements (such as occupational health and safety regulations, power plant procedures), supplementary test conditions and special evaluation methods are required.
