GB 4943.1-2011 Information technology equipment—Safety—Part 1:General requirements
Abstract
This part of GB 4943 applies to information technology equipment powered by grid electricity or batteries, with a rated voltage not exceeding 600 V, including electrical service equipment and related equipment.
This part also applies to the following information technology equipment:
——〖ZK(#〗Designed as communication terminal equipment and communication network infrastructure equipment, regardless of the power supply method;
——Equipment designed and intended to be directly connected to or used as infrastructure equipment in cable distribution systems, regardless of the power supply method;
——Designed to use AC grid power as an information transmission medium (see Note 4 in Chapter 6 and Note 4 in Chapter 7.1).〖ZK)〗
This part also applies to components and assemblies intended to be installed inside information technology equipment. If a complete information technology equipment installed with these components and assemblies meets the requirements of this part, then these components or assemblies are not required to meet all the requirements of this part.
