This document specifies the normal and special operating conditions, materials, design, manufacturing and processes, repair of defects, heat treatment of cast aluminum alloy, inspection, testing and quality assurance, and requirements for pressure relief devices of aluminum alloy enclosures for high-voltage switchgear equipment.
This document is applicable to the design, production, and inspection of aluminum alloy enclosures for high-voltage switchgear equipment installed outdoors or indoors, which are filled with compressed dry air, sulfur hexafluoride, nitrogen, or mixtures of these gases.
Note: The above-mentioned gases are mainly used for insulation and/or arc extinguishing, and the design pressure is usually greater than 0.3 MPa (relative pressure).
The components contained in the aluminum alloy enclosures of inflated high-voltage switchgear equipment (including rigid gas-insulated transmission lines) are not limited to the following elements:
—— Circuit breakers;
—— Load switches;
—— Isolation switches;
—— Grounding switches;
—— Current transformers;
—— Voltage transformers;
—— Lightning arresters;
—— Busbars and connecting pieces.
It also includes pressure-bearing components, such as the three-way manifolds (three-way connections) of live enclosures of switchgear equipment.
