This document specifies the specification grades, technical requirements, and testing methods for spring shot peening steel wire cut balls.
This document is applicable to steel wire cut balls (referred to as pellets) made from cold-drawn steel wire and passivated by processing, which are used for spring shot peening to improve the fatigue life of springs.
