本文件规定了制造冷拉碳素弹簧钢丝的分类和标记、订货内容、尺寸及形态要求、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、运输、储存、标志及质量证明书。本文件适用于制造静载荷和动载荷应用的机械弹簧的圆形横截面的冷拉碳素弹簧钢丝（以下简称钢丝)。异型（如方形)弹簧钢丝的标准抗拉强度可以采用与本文件等同横截面积对应规格的值。本文件不适用于制造高疲劳强度弹簧（如阀门簧)用钢丝。
